CUSTOM COMPOUNDING

The biggest areas for growth over the recent years at TDL Plastics have been in our custom compounded materials. Our capabilities to produce any material that you could need are second to none. We currently compound materials in ABS, Acetal (both homopolymer and copolymer), Acrylic, Isoplast, Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP), Nylon, PBT and its alloys, PET, PES, Polycarbonate and its alloys, PEI, all grades of Polyethylene, Homopolymer and Copolymer Polypropylene, General Purpose and High Impact Polystyrene, Polyurethane, PVC, SAN, SBS, TPE, TPO, and Urethanes.

To these resins, we have the ability to add any of the following materials:

Long Glass, Short Glass, Glass Bead (both solid and hollow)

Impact modifiers or brittleness enhancers (yes, some need their plastic to break easier)

Mica, Talc, Calcium, or any other "rock"

Custom Colors including tints or solid colors, stone colors, marbled effects, pearlessence, metallic and special effect pigments

Flame Retardant packages that will meet the most stringent environmental specifications

UV Additive packages for any environmental requirement

Silicone or Teflon for lubricity or chemical resistance

Chemical Tracers and Markers to help trace material for liability or to deter competitor infringement

Carbon Powder, Fiber, or Nanotubes

Metals including Iron, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Copper, Beryllium and other metals in any size down to 5 microns

Fragrances

Antibacterial Agents

Organic materials such as wood or other plant fibers

Just about anything you can come up with.
